Ghazaleh mamdoohi
Dr. Ghazaleh Mamdoohi is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at INRS (Institut national de la recherche scientifique), Canada, Montreal, where she conducts advanced research in high power mode lock laser technologies. She received her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with a focus on optics and photonics. Her research expertise centers on ultrafast pulse generation, nonlinear fiber optics, and experimental laser system design. Dr. Mamdoohi has extensive hands-on laboratory experience in the development and characterization of ultrashort pulse laser systems, including pulse width optimization, repetition rate control, and nonlinear dynamics analysis. Her work integrates both theoretical modeling and experimental implementation, with a strong emphasis on practical system performance and innovation. In addition to her postdoctoral research, Dr. Mamdoohi is actively collaborating with Zayed University as a Research Assistant, contributing to ongoing research initiatives and interdisciplinary projects. Her work bridges theoretical modeling with experimental implementation, emphasizing practical innovation and real-world applicability. Prior to her current position, she served as an assistant professor and university faculty member, where she was actively involved in teaching, mentoring, and supervising students at both undergraduate and graduate levels. She is passionate about knowledge transfer and has consistently supported student development in advanced engineering and photonics research. Her broader interests include applied photonics, laser-matter interaction, and emerging intelligent tools for research optimization. Dr. Mamdoohi remains committed to advancing high-performance fiber laser systems and fostering collaborative, interdisciplinary research environments.
